I thought that today would be a good day to remind you all about writing in your journal this summer. After today, I bet you could write a great story about your 4th of July. You could even write an acrostic poem using the word FIREWORKS. Don't forget to add your illustration.

I like all the colors you have used for your blog. It adds to the fun! This is a great way to communicate with parents and students. I like how you are sending out reminders and checking in with students over the summer.
